Educational Visits
If you are a Headteacher, an Educational Visits Coordinator, or you regularly take children out of the classroom, you will know how important it is that staff are confident and they know how to look after pupils and keep them safe when off-site.
This training will explain how to ensure the health and safety of pupils and staff when they go off-site and the processes that need to be followed to plan and approve educational visits. We will show you eVisit, the online educational visit planning and approval system. We will also share the common issues we come across when reviewing submitted visits and the good practices that you can all adopt.

Stuart Heggs the SHE Manager talks through some of the things that have happened and outlines how to manage health and safety and plan visits. He then demonstrates how to use eVisit to create new user profiles, add visits and explains the process schools should follow to ensure that visits get the go ahead.
