AET Early Years Making Sense of Autism

Who is this course for? All early years staff, including support staff, admin staff, caretakers and lunchtime supervisors.

What does this course cover?

• What is autism?

• How does it impact on CYP?

• Some basic strategies will be covered.

Course Aims

A 2 hour whistle stop tour of autism, as a starting point for settings to be able to consider whole school approaches to supporting CYP. Participants will gain basic understanding of autism, and some strategies to help CYP.
