Getting to know the revised EYFS in Reception: Mathematics focus

Participants will acquire ideas about focused diagnostic assessment/direct teaching exercises that are linked with both number and shape/space. These will involve a range of resources being utilised and offer different points of inclusive access to learning for children associated with established trajectories, which will in turn provide secure foundations for their later transition into Key Stage 1. Guidance for working alongside parents to best support children will also be given.
