As part of this programme delegates will gain NCFE Cache L3 Award for Special Education Needs Coordinator in Early Years Settings.
They will also be awarded with one Level 4 module: Coordinate Special Educational Needs Provision, this is a further CPD module that encourages qualification progression.
The early years conference will give the opportunity for early years practitioners across Gloucestershire to come together and hear updates from different services who can support their setting.
Throughout the day speakers will be invited to address the audience, share information and answer questions.
There will be stands available throughout the day manned by services allowing practitioners to visit, collect information and chat to teams.
Participants will acquire ideas about focused diagnostic assessment/direct teaching exercises that are linked with both number and shape/space. These will involve a range of resources being utilised and offer different points of inclusive access to learning for children associated with established trajectories, which will in turn provide secure foundations for their later transition into Key Stage 1. Guidance for working alongside parents to best support children will also be given.
This is an information session for people who are considering becoming registered childminders. This informative session will provide information about the requirements of registration as a childminder and the processes to follow in order to become registered. You will have an opportunity to ask questions about the process and fully understand the requirements and make an informed decision about whether or not this is the correct career path for you.
