New to Senco 2022/23
| This training provides information and support for practitioners, within the Early Years sector, that are new to the SENCO role. |
| As well as understanding the role of the SENCO the training covers topics such as identifying children who may have additional needs, having sensitive conversations with parents and colleagues and supporting practitioners through the graduated pathway. This training consists of 1 pre-recorded session and 3 online live sessions covering a range of topics that support Early Years Practitioners to become confident as a SENCo. |
| One member of staff per setting. Please ensure you are able to use your camera and microphone during these sessions. There is an expectation that you contribute to discussions. Delegates must watch the pre-recorded session and attend all 3 live sessions in order to receive a certificate. Practitioners must attend all sessions. |
